COMET
A high-speed action puzzle game inspired by Meteos.
Match blocks, launch whole stacks into the sky, and clear them at the ceiling before your board overflows. In multiplayer, every good clear can turn into pressure for someone else.

ABOUT THIS DEMO
This is an in-development demo focused on testing the core gameplay and online multiplayer.
Right now, the goal is to make the game feel fast, readable, and satisfying while we continue refining balance, UI, and battle flow.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT?
Unlike traditional falling-block puzzle games, matched blocks do not simply disappear in place.
In COMET:
- Match 3 blocks vertically
- Ignite a launch
- Send the matched blocks and the stack above them upward
- Boost them into the ceiling to clear space faster
That means every match is also a positioning decision.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Move Blocks
Swap blocks to set up matches and prepare launches.
Depending on the selected control mode, blocks can be moved vertically, horizontally, or freely.
2. Match 3 Vertically
Create a vertical line of 3 blocks with the same color.
This triggers a launch and sends the matched stack upward.
3. Boost the Launch 🚀
Hold Space to accelerate launched blocks.
Use boost to reach the ceiling faster and keep your field under control.
4. Clear at the Ceiling
When launched blocks hit the ceiling, they disappear.
This gives you points, opens space on your board, and in multiplayer can send garbage to opponents.

- Up to 10 players per room
- Attack targets are selected randomly
- Online play is currently being tested with WebTransport
